Accessibility
Effective as of October 1, 2026
Innocrux builds video software that other organisations put in front of large audiences. Accessibility matters twice over here: once for this website, and once for the streaming services our customers run on the platform — where a caption track or a keyboard-operable player is the difference between a viewer being served and being excluded.
1. The standard we work to
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the level referenced by most procurement processes and by the EU Web Accessibility Directive and the European Accessibility Act.
2. Current status
No third-party accessibility audit has been completed. We are not claiming conformance, because conformance is something an audit establishes and ours has not been done. What follows is what we have verified ourselves, and what we know is still outstanding.
3. This website
Checked across every published page:
- Every image carries an alt attribute. Decorative images are given an empty alt so a screen reader skips them rather than reading out a filename.
- Each page has exactly one h1, and headings run in order without skipping a level.
- Navigation, links and buttons are reachable and operable by keyboard, and controls that did nothing have been removed rather than left for someone to tab into.
- Pages use semantic landmarks — header, nav, main and footer — so a screen-reader user can move between regions.
- Layouts reflow to narrow viewports without horizontal scrolling.
4. The platform and the player
For services built on Innocrux, the platform provides closed captions and multi-language subtitles, including subtitle tracks generated by the AI video services and then reviewed. Caption styling and track selection are exposed to the viewer in the player.
Accessibility of a published streaming service is a shared responsibility. Innocrux provides the capability; the customer decides whether to supply caption tracks, how they are reviewed, and whether to meet the regulatory obligations that apply to them as a broadcaster or publisher. A platform that supports captions does not make a catalogue accessible if no captions are uploaded.
5. Known limitations
- No independent audit or VPAT exists yet. If you need one for a procurement process, contact us and we will tell you where we are.
- Colour contrast has not been verified systematically across every component and state, only on the main text and controls.
- The site has not been tested end to end with every major screen reader and browser combination.
- Audio description support in the player has not been verified to the level the rest of this page is written to, and is deliberately not claimed here.
This list will shrink. We would rather publish it than publish a statement that implies it is empty.
6. Telling us about a barrier
If something on this site or in the platform is difficult or impossible to use, tell us at [email protected]. Describing the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using helps us reproduce it, but a report without those details is still worth sending.
We will acknowledge your message, tell you whether we can fix it and when, and if it is a viewer-facing problem on a service run by one of our customers, we will say so and help route it to them — the content and configuration of those services are theirs.
